Famous for his swaggering good looks and his brilliant, reckless personality, Phillip's painting of Byron can be found on display in Room 18 of the Gallery. ⠀ ⠀ The quote above was taken from one of Byron's letters to his friend Elizabeth Bridget Pigot, sent from Trinity College, Cambridge, 5 July 1807, about John Edleston, a chorister at the college. Today he finally got a bed in hospice. As a result, I’m shutting down the podcast and putting it on hiatus until further notice. Thank you for understanding why I have to make him my priority now.
